Mayor Kurt, who recently announced the Public Bread project, has fulfilled another promise to the people of Çınarcık. Since taking office, Mayor Kurt has implemented social municipality projects such as the Employment Desk, the Women Producers Market, and the Suspended Invoice program.
Continuing his social municipality efforts with the Public Bread project, Mayor Kurt visited the sales points on the day sales began. During the visit, Mayor Kurt received information from municipal staff about bread sales and citizens' reactions, and wished the staff success.
At the Public Bread sales points located in the Harmanlar, Taşliman, and Karpuzdere neighborhoods of the district, almost all of the bread was sold on the first day. A total of 1500 loaves of bread were offered for sale at the three sales points. Making statements about the project, Mayor Kurt said, “I hope that this project, which we implemented under the umbrella of Çınarcık Municipality Tourism Inc. and which has won the appreciation and support of our people, will be beneficial for Çınarcık. The next project is the City Restaurant. We will put this project into practice as soon as possible. We will never stop standing by our people with our social municipality touches.”
